Setting It Up

To set up the Weight Watchers scale, remove all of the outer packaging and flip it over 1. There is a switch on the underside of the scale that allows you to select pounds or kilograms as your weight measurement of choice. Flip the switch to the appropriate side. Slide open the top of the battery compartment, also located on the underside of the scale, and slide a 3V lithium battery inside. Set the scale on a level surface.

Tap the center of the scale with your toe to turn on the digital display. The screen will read "888.8" while the Weight Watchers scale is powering up 1. When the screen reading switches to "00.0," it is ready to measure your weight. If you attempt to use the scale before "00.0" appears, the Weight Watchers scale will not be able to weigh you 1.

Step onto the scale, placing one foot on each of the metal sensor plates, and hold still. The digital display will flash several times, then show your weight.
