Vaporizer Troubleshooting
A vaporizer comes in handy when you are sick, especially when you have a cold. Vaporizers usually work by putting medication in them and you breathe the vapors of the medication. It can be a pleasant experience to use a vaporizer. But it may not be pleasant when it is not working properly. If you have a vaporizer that is not working properly, there are some ways that you can make the vaporizer return to normal.
Unusual noise
Make sure that you do not use too much salt when adding salt to low mineral water. Too much salt will cause the vaporizer to make a crackle, buzz or humming sound.
To solve the problem of using too much salt, unplug the vaporizer and let it cool.
Dump the water out and rinse the unit. When refilling with fresh water, do not add salt.
Check also to see if the water level is down. **A low water level can result in unusual sounds from the vaporizer.
** If the water level is low, unplug the vaporizer and let it cool down. Then, remove the steam unit and let the hot water drip out. Refill the container with water to the water level marking.
Clean the unit. Sometimes the vaporizer will make unusual noise if it is unclean.
