The corpora cavernosa consists of two cylinder shaped chambers that run along the side of the penis. These chambers are filled with open spongy tissue that becomes filled with blood. The pressure from these blood filled chambers causes a man to become erect. In order for the blood to start to flow to the corpora cavernosa a man must become aroused either mentally or physically. Normally, after ejaculation or the removal of stimulation the corpora cavernosa muscles relax and blood flows back into the body.
Corpora cavernosa exercises are often referred to as jelging, a method developed in the Middle East. The primary reason for these exercises is to improve the skins elasticity and to improve blood flow, which allows for a bigger erection.
Apply a hot compress to your entire penis for two to three minutes. This will simulate the second stage of male arousal.
Rub penis thoroughly and gently with petroleum jelly or any soothing oil. Do not apply too much petroleum jelly/oil or you will lose the feel of the corpora cavernosa. This application of oil or jelly should naturally make you semi-erect. Do not become fully erect or you will not be able to perform the exercise.
Grip your semi-erect penis with your palms facing downwards and your thumb and index fingers applying pressure to the under side of your penis. Alternately, use your hands as you lightly pull your penis away from your body. Continue this motion for 5 to 10 minutes.
Wrap a hot compress around your semi-erect penis for two to three minutes. This will continue to enhance blood flow.
Wash your penis with a wash cloth and warm water. Allow it to air dry and return to a normal state.
Consult with your physician before you start any exercise routine. Do not become fully erect or climax; you are trying to improve the length and blood flow of your penis. Perform exercise daily to see results. Thirty minutes of physical activity a day excluding corpora cavernosa exercises increases blood flow and helps to enhance corpora cavernosa exercises. Good nutrition helps overall body functions and enhances corpora cavernosa exercises. Measure your penis before and after exercises so you can track results accurately.
Genital tissue can become torn and blood vessels can burst as a result of corpora cavernosa exercise. Jelging or corpora cavernosa exercises are not scientifically proven to enhance male genitalia.
