How Many Calories in Red Stripe Beer?
Although synonymous with the white sand beaches of Jamaica, you don't have to visit this Caribbean island to enjoy Red Stripe beer. This pale lager, served in a stubby bottle characterized by its diagonal red stripe over a white label, has a crisp flavor that pairs well with spicy foods.

Red Stripe has higher alcohol and caloric values than Red Stripe Light. The traditional lager contains 157 calories per 11.2-ounce bottle and has 4.7 percent alcohol by volume. As its name dictates, Red Stripe Light offers a lighter taste with 124 calories per 12-ounce bottle and 4.1 percent alcohol by volume. Red Stripe and Red Stripe Light also contain 13.8 grams and 11 grams of carbohydrates per serving, respectively.
