Elequine Side Effects
Elequine is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections including bronchitis, chlamydia, pneumonia, gonorrhea, urinary tract infections and prostate infections. Typical symptoms with Elequine treatment include problems with the stomach and blood pressure. Also, use caution while driving when taking this medication, as Elequine may have an impact on response time. It is also advised to avoid sunlight while on Elequine. Check with your doctor if unusual symptoms arise when starting on a new drug treatment.
Shortness of Breath
Thirty-eight percent of patients taking Elequine for a bacterial infection experienced dyspnoea (shortness of breath).
Abdominal pain was found in 25 percent of patients taking Elequine. Keep a log of the pain and its intensity to bring to your doctor, if needed.
Blood Pressure Changes
Blood pressure fluctuation, or changes up and down, occurred in 25 percent of patients reporting Elequine symptoms.
Skin discoloration was also reported by 25 percent of patients who evaluated symptoms of Elequine. Ask the doctor immediately about the skin discoloration if it appears.
Vomiting was reported as a side effect of Elequine. Seek medical help if the vomiting is ongoing.
Insomnia was also found to occur with Elequine treatment. If the insomnia persists, notify the doctor.
Some patients also reported experiencing a heart arrhythmia while on Elequine treatment.
