How to Get Rid of Blackheads Above the Lip
Blackheads can appear anywhere on your face, and you may get them above your lips where skin is constantly rubbed or wiped. If blackheads are not removed from the skin above the lip, the area may appear dark and blotchy. To remove the blackheads, cleanse your skin properly, exfoliate with a gentle scrub and treat the area with an antibacterial facial oil. Following this regimen for a few weeks will help the skin above your mouth become clear and blackhead-free.
Wash the skin above your lip with a natural soap free of skin-irritating ingredients typically found in regular soaps. Wet the skin above your lip with water, and then lather up your fingers. Apply the lather to the skin, spreading it over the area with the blackheads. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the skin, which can worsen the condition. Rinse with warm water. Cleanse the skin above your lip twice per day.

Exfoliate the skin above your lip with a gentle facial scrub, such as baking soda. Wet the skin above your lip. Pour 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into your palm and mix in 1/4 teaspoon of water to turn it into a paste. Spread the paste onto your skin, massaging it gently for 1 to 2 minutes. Do not rub or scrub the skin with the baking soda, which could cause irritation. Rinse the skin using warm water. Using an exfoliant removes pore-clogging dead skin cells above the lip. Use a baking soda exfoliant once per day.
Apply an antibacterial oil, such as tea tree oil, to the skin above your lip 2. Dip a cotton swab into tea tree oil, then dip it immediately and quickly into and out of water 2. This dilutes the tea tree oil so it can be applied to your skin without causing redness or irritation. Tea tree oil is an antibacterial oil that will help prevent blackheads and will kill off acne-causing bacteria inside the pores. Dab the diluted oil onto the skin above your lip up to three times per day.
