About T5 Slimming Tablets

By Jim Thomas ; Updated July 18, 2017

Forza T5 Slimming Tablets are produced in England and available for purchase via the Internet. Forza sells a number of supplements aimed at the body building and weight loss crowd, some under the T5 label and others without the T5 label. According to the Aid Weight Loss website, the different brands of Forza products for weight loss and body building are all roughly the same. Most contain ephedrine, which the company calls "forza Hcl," caffeine, aspirin and other filler products. Ephedrine has been linked with deaths from heart attacks and strokes, and products containing it should not be used without consulting a doctor, if used at all.

Long used in Chinese medicine, ephedra, or ma huang, has been used to treat a number of conditions. Ephedra contains ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, which have been found to stimulate your central nervous system. While not technically an amphetamine, ephedra and ephedrine are very similar to amphetamines and have similar effects on the body. It became a very popular supplement for diet and weight loss in American due to its ability to suppress your appetite and burn fat.

Both ephedrine and caffeine, the two main ingredients in Forza T5 products and many other diet pills, are stimulants which can boost energy. But the side effects can range from annoying to lethal. The most common side effects from T5 products include increased body temperature, increased heart rate, shakiness, sweating, nausea, dizziness, headaches, muscle wasting, insomnia and diarrhea. Less common side effects linked with ephedrine include panic attacks, delusions, heart attacks and stroke.

After a spate of more than 100 deaths and thousands of adverse effects linked to products containing ephedra and ephedrine, the FDA finally banned such products in 2004. But the ban appears to have major loopholes, since ephedrine products such as T5 are openly sold over the Internet, and anyone with a credit card can purchase them.

Although MayoClinic.com warns against taking ephedra or ephedrine products, it also states that there is "strong scientific evidence" to show that ephedra and caffeine combinations will help you lose weight. Still, the negative effects and risk of complications outweigh any potential weight loss benefit.

There are no quick fixes for weight loss, although epedra and caffeine combinations such as T5 diet pills may be the closest. But the risk of using such products seems too great to justify its use, especially since you cannot take diet pills for very long without potentially grave consequences.
