Remove the trays and brush your teeth to remove the remaining gel.

Purchase tooth whitening strips from your local supermarket or drug store. Whitening strips have whitening gel applied to thin, clear strips of plastic.
Apply the strips to your upper and lower teeth. Leave the strips on your teeth accoding to package directions.
Remove the whitening strips and brush your teeth to remove the whitening gel.
Tips
Whitening toothpaste should be used in conjunction with either trays or strips. Trays have the advantage of applying whitening gel to all of your teeth, including your molars, whereas strips only extend to approximately your canine teeth.
There is generally no difference in the strength of the whitening gel in strips and trays.
