How Long Does it Take for Rogaine to Work?
Overview of Rogaine
Originally, Rogaine was introduced in the 1980s as a treatment for high blood pressure. The side effect was hair growth. It was discovered that Rogaine revitalizes hair follicles allowing the growing phase to last longer. The result is healthy hair. It was soon manufactured in a two percent topical solution for hereditary hair growth, but only by prescription. Today, it is available over-the-counter in a five percent topical solution and a two percent solution. Its main ingredient is Minoxidil, the only FDA approved ingredient to regrow hair. There is Rogaine for men and for women. It comes in foam, regular strength and extra strength for men. For women, it comes in regular strength and scented.
