The Best Rated Multi-Vitamin for All Around Men's Health

By Elijah Jenkins

A multivitamin is an excellent way to get your requirement of vitamins and minerals if you are unable to do so through your regular diet or find your body depleted of said vitamins due to exercise and fatigue. Vitamins are the best-selling nutritional supplement on the market and there are great options for men, women, and children. The field is broad for men's vitamins, but a few tend to rise to the top.

GNC Mega Men Multivitamin

GNC's Mega Men Multivitamin is consistently put at or near the top of the heap in the vitamin race. This vitamin, in a two pill dose, contains 100 percent of nearly every necessary vitamin and mineral. It also has no iron, the mark of a well-composed vitamin for men; men do not typically require any iron in addition to that already in their diets. It should be noted that this vitamin does contain a fish product and so is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

One-A-Day Men's Health Formula also contains no iron, 100 percent of nearly every necessary vitamin and mineral, and can consistently be found in top 10 lists from a number of resources. One-A-Day also contains 157 percent of the DV of selenium, which Bayer claims fights against the onset of prostate cancer, though this is far from being proved. This vitamin contains gelatin, so it is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

Rainbow Light Men's One Multivitamin

It does contain all the daily recommended doses of necessary vitamins and minerals, but well over the daily recommended doses of some. The distinguishing characteristic of Rainbow Light's product is that it is free of dye, sugar or sweeteners, artificial flavors and colors of any sort, and free of all animal products. This is a very strong vitamin suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
