Vitamins for Sinus Problems & Energy

Many of these symptoms may be reduced or controlled by taking specific vitamins. Energy loss is also a problem for some people and is characterized by fatigue, weakness and lethargy. Vitamin A

Vitamin B12

If you become deficient in this vitamin, you may experience symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, loss of energy and loss of appetite. Animal foods are rich sources of vitamin B-12 including meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products. Vegans and vegetarians need to be aware that this vitamin is not found in plant foods. Vitamin C

Good dietary sources include oranges, grapefruits, melons, strawberries, broccoli and spinach. Vitamin Cmay also be helpful in reducing symptoms of sinus problems. According to MedlinePlus, vitamin C may be helpful to combat the common cold. Symptoms of the common cold include headache, wheezing, postnasal drip and nasal congestion. These are common to sinus problems as well. Therefore, increasing your intake of this vitamin may help boost your immune system and provide protection against infections and other sinus difficulties.
