Eating and Exercise Tips for Your 40s (Infographic)

Some say “40 is the new 30,” but the truth is that your 40s are a time of transition to middle age, with subtle changes in vision and brain function and increasingly slow metabolism. Exercise and a healthy, balanced diet have never been more important. As you age your metabolism slows, and balance and portion control become far more important aspects of your diet. An extra 100 calories a day can lead to 10 extra pounds per year if the difference isn’t made up through additional exercise.
