How to Make Salt & Vinegar Almonds

Almonds, like other nuts, are high in unsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids, both of which have known health benefits. Almonds are also high in cholesterol-lowering fiber and heart-friendly vitamin E, and could help prevent diabetes, according to a 2010 study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition. However, if you’re not keen on the delicate flavor of almonds themselves, you can add some salt and vinegar to them for a tasty treat.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Combine the vinegar and brown sugar to a saucepan set over medium heat.

Gently stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved.

Add the almonds to the pot and stir until they are fully coated.

Spread the coated almonds evenly onto the prepared baking pan.

Sprinkle the salt over the almonds, tossing them so that it is added evenly.
