Britney Spears Shows Us How Important It Is to Stay Motivated
Like most of us, singer Britney Spears has had issues with sticking to a strict workout routine throughout the years. Unlike us, the 35-year-old’s journey has been heavily documented in the media. So it’s equally surprising and amazing that she’s decided to provide evidence of her latest journey via social media. Spears showed off her shredded abs in an Instagram post on Tuesday and we can’t help but notice her hard work is paying off with a major #fitness goals body.
“Daily exercise is important for me both mentally and physically,” Spears told Women’s Health in January for the cover story. “I don’t mind working out. Trainers keep you motivated, but I don’t have a problem being motivated.”
So if you’ve not been able to stick to your New Year’s resolution, don’t give up. Not only does Spears rarely use a trainer, but she also shares video from her workouts on IG should you need some inspiration. Whether handstands, weight training or dancing are what motivate you to sweat, Spears has it all.
“Owning my temple, my body, through yoga,” she said last week via Instagram. “But I really need to find one of those cool round mats!!”
The former teen pop star has come a long way since the Mickey Mouse Club, and as a mother of two she wouldn’t change a thing. Through social media, she’s helping people get more fit and letting them know her body changes throughout the years too just like theirs.
“After I had Jayden, it was real easy for me to get back in shape,” she told the publication. “But five years later, I started noticing changes in my body. My hips are a bit wider because I’ve had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise. Consistency is key.”
