Loading the last few cartridges into a magazine for a Glock pistol can prove challenging, especially for women or new shooters. Loading the magazine by hand may involve getting your fingers pinched or needing brute strength to push against the tension of the magazine's spring. A Glock speed loader decreases time and frustration needed to load your magazines by hand. It fits over the end of the magazine and does the hard work for you, enabling you to push each cartridge in more easily.
Time to Load Up
Place the magazine from your Glock pistol on a flat work surface, such as a table or workbench. Place the polymer speed loader over the top of the magazine. Press down on the speed loader to depress the spring and make room for the first cartridge. Insert the rear of the cartridge into the speed loader until it contacts the post on the inside. Hold the front of the bullet in place with the finger of one hand, and with the other hand, pull the speed loader up. As the tab from the speed loader moves out of the way, simply slide the bullet toward the rear of the magazine until it seats in place. Repeat until your magazine is full.
