A Bowflex Treadclimber is an exercise machine that combines the workouts of a treadmill and a stair climber into one. If you're considering using a Treadclimber, it may take some getting used to. But once you do, you'll love the workout you receive, as well as the results.
Find a Bowflex Treadclimber available for use. It's important to be as comfortable as possible while you're working out, so look for a Treadclimber at the gym that's in a good spot.
Get ready to exercise. Make sure you're wearing proper footwear (general tennis shoes or walking/running shoes). If you normally listen to music, have your mp3 player in a stable location and your headphones in place. If the Treadclimber you're using has a heart rate monitor, attach that to the designated area on your body.
Step onto the Treadclimber. Your machine may have a "Quick Start" option that allows you to begin your workout with the push of a button. Change the resistance options and speed of the Bowflex Treadclimber to increase or decrease the intensity of your workout.
Prepare for your exercise. You want to get in a full workout, so make sure you're able to avoid distractions (family members, pets or even dinner cooking on the stove.) Wear comfortable shoes and make sure you have everything you need to begin working out (water, a music player and/or the television remote).
Turn on your Bowflex Treadclimber. Your Treadclimber may have the capability to track the workouts and results of up to five users. If so, locate your user information and step onto the machine. Attach the heart rate monitor, if that's available on your Treadclimber.
Use your Bowflex Treadclimber. Plan your workout for a predetermined time frame and change your incline and resistance options, as well as your speed, throughout your workout.
