Slide the two-foot-long PVC pipes through three T-shaped couplings each, with the open end of the couplings facing in the same direction.
Place two corner couplings on each 2-foot-long pipe, with one on each end of the pipe, and the open end of the corner couplings facing the same direction as the open end of the T-shaped couplings. Spread the T-shaped couplings evenly between the corner couplings.
Insert the five 6-foot-long pieces of piping into the open ends of the couplings on one of the 2-foot-long pieces of pipe.
Insert the open end of the couplings from the second 2-foot-long pipe over the remaining ends of the 6-foot-long pieces of pipe to complete the frame.
Seal around every coupling entirely with the waterproof sealant to prevent water from getting in your float.
Tie the padding around the outer 6-foot-long couplings to secure the pad to your float.
