AB Lounge 2 Setup Instructions

An Ab Lounge 2 is a piece of exercise equipment you use at home to target the muscles of your midsection. The Ab Lounge 2 has a folding, pike-position kind of action that strengthens and stretches your abs, obliques and lower back through a full range of motion. Setting up your Ab Lounge 2 so it is ready for home use is not complicated if you follow some basic instructions.

Remove the main frame of the machine and the rest of the parts from the box. Lay everything out on the floor and take a quick inventory to ensure all the parts are accounted for.

Lift the main frame of the Ab Lounge 2 and place it on the floor on its right side. Grab onto both the front frame and rear frame near the bottom, and pull the machine open.

Attach the locking arm to the left front frame with the bolt, washer and acorn nut provided. Shift the other end of the locking arm to the top of the left rear frame and attach with the bolt, washer and acorn nut provided.

Attach the locking arm to the top of the right front frame with the bolt, washer and acorn nut provided. Move the loose end of the locking arm to underneath the rear right frame and attach with the bolt, washer and acorn nut provided.

Lay the Ab Lounge 2 on either side and stand between the two frames, as you push the footrest out until the seat and bottom frame separate. Keep pushing the seat until the edge of it is about two feet from the bottom frame.

Pull the support frame for the seat toward yourself and find the two holes on top of the bar. Attach the long band to the lower hole located in the support frame of the seat. Attach the opposite end of the long band to the rear frame. Insert the hooks completely. Insert the short band hook into the top hole on the support frame of the seat. Insert the other end into the front frame.

Stand the unit upright and attach the handlebars into the main assembly of the machine. The curves must face down. Secure each handlebar with one of the knobs provided with the machine.
