One product that Ping has been known for is their golf club shafts. Ping golf shafts are made for drivers and irons.

Ping Iron Shafts

Pings iron shafts are manufactured in either steel or graphite. Selecting the best shaft for your iron is crucial to getting the best contact and distance on a golf shot. Ping uses G10 technology to create their golf shafts. The G10 line has three different shaft specifications which are the Ping TFC 129i, Ping AWT, and Ping Z-Z65. Each of the three shafts have different specifications that can change the outcome of a golf swing. All of these specifications can be customized to make a shaft that caters to any type of swing.

Ping TFC 129i Iron Shaft

The Ping TFC 129i uses a graphite shaft. The flex on the shafts are soft, regular and stiff. The torque on each shaft can either be 2.6 or 3.5 degrees. Weight on each shaft can be 70, 74, or 86 grams.

Ping ATW Iron Shaft

The Ping ATW iron shafts are all steel. The flexes on the iron can be soft, regular, stiff, or X-stiff (a stronger version of stiff). The degree on the shafts are 2.0, 2.1, 1.6, or 1.5.

Ping Z-Z65 Iron Shaft

The Ping Z-Z65 is a steel shaft with a stiff flex. The degree is 1.6 and it weighs 109 grams.

Ping Driver Shafts

Ping only makes drivers in graphite because the material produces the longest distance on drives. The ping driver shafts come in a variety of specifications that produce different impact, spin, and loft on a golf ball during contact. The driver shafts come in the Ping TFC 129, Pro Launch Red, V2 High Launch, and Diamana Blue 63. Similar to the iron shafts each driver shaft has different flex torque and weight that can be customized.

Ping TFC 129 and V-2 High Launch

The Ping TFC 129 driver shaft uses graphite material with a flex of soft, regular, stiff, or x-stiff. The degrees for a driver shaft are 5.5, 4.6, 4.1, and 3.7 degrees. The weight of the driver shaft can be 58, 60, 63, or 68 grams.

The V-2 High Launch driver shaft uses graphite material with regular, stiff, or x-stiff flex. The torque of the shaft is 3.7 or 3.8 degrees. The weight in the shaft is either 62, 63, or 64 grams.

Pro Launch Red and Diamana Blue 63
