One way to do that is to add the following foods to your regular diet. All of them are foods for healthy kidneys.

Apple

Apples can be eaten raw, baked, or have their juice drank, which makes them a very versatile food. They're good for the kidneys because they reduce cholesterol levels in the blood, giving the kindey less to filter out, which allows them to get rid of more toxins.

Garlic

Garlic also helps to lower blood cholesterol levels. It also reduces inflammation in the kidneys, which could lead to or worsen kidney disease.

Cranberries

Cranberries are great in salads, smoothies, or as a juice. THey contain proanthocyanidin, which is an antioxidant that will help flush out toxins that may be in the kidneys.

Onions

Onions contain an antioxidant known as quercitin. This helps to combat free radicals that could damage your kidney, and also helps to detox the kidney, much like cranberries.

Olive Oil

To further reduce inflammation of the kidneys, cook with olive oil. It is a great source of oleic acid, a powerful natural antiinflammatory.
