How to Contact ESPN Sports Writers

By Eric Cedric

If you are a sports fan, you probably tune in regularly to ESPN. In addition to showing live events every day, the cable network's announcers and sports writers provide commentary, reports and editorials on the world of sports. You may or may not agree with what the writers say, leaving you wanting to write to the reporters and share your opinions. ESPN makes it easy for fans to contact them at the network's website or, if you read "ESPN The Magazine," to send a letter to the editor's desk and address it to a particular writer.

Log on to the ESPN website and look at the upper right hand corner of the home page. Click the "Register" link, fill out your online registration and submit it. Respond to the validation email sent from ESPN to confirm your registration.

Click the "Feedback" link and fill out the form along with your registration name and password. Write to the reporter of your choice, or respond to individual reports and stories by leaving feedback online.

Go to the "About Us" link at the bottom of the website and choose the staffer you wish to contact. Click their email link and send your correspondence to the writer.

Visit the "ESPN The Magazine" web page and select the "Letters to the Editor" link. Submit your letter, title it and direct it towards the columnist or writer in the magazine as needed. Once the form is filled out, hit "submit" to submit it.
