Cadet Vs. Regular Golf Glove

By Craig Berman

The big difference between a cadet golf glove and a regular one is the sizing. Cadet gloves are designed for male golfers with shorter fingers and wider palms. Regular gloves fit those with more proportional hands. Both are available in multiple sizes to give golfers the best fit possible. Cadet gloves, however, are only available for men.

All In The Sizing

Golf gloves should have a snug fit. They act as a “second skin” that enhances the grip without sacrificing club feel. Cadet golf gloves help make this possible for more male golfers. The differences are minimal – cadet gloves are about a centimeter shorter and a centimeter wider than regular gloves – but that small change helps keep the glove from bunching up and negatively affecting the user’s experience. If you’re not sure whether you’re better off with a cadet or a regular golf glove, try both on to see which is the perfect fit for you.
