If you're plagued with fat deposits on your thighs that just won't go away - you might be doing the wrong workouts to whittle them down. If you're looking for ways to slim and tone your thighs and say bye-bye to saddle bags forever - you've come to the right place!
The first thing you need to do is be patient. Saddle bags can be stubborn - so stay with it and don't give up!
You will have to tweak your diet. Start eating foods high in fiber and stay away from fatty foods and heavy dairy (skim milk fat free dairy is fine) and remember that if you're eating junk, you'll never see results - so try to incorporate healthy eating into your daily routine. And make sure you're getting lots of water to help flush your system.
You're also going to have to get moving. A fat burning routine is essential for losing stubborn fat deposits. You don't have to run ten miles a day (although that would definitely do it), but you do need to do SOMETHING. Start walking for an hour every day. Try the elliptical machine or a treadmill at the gym. Just make sure you're on the go in some way.
HERE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART! The EXERCISES you do to target your thighs, but, and hips will be key. Try pilates style kicks and bicycles for some great results. (You can find step by step instructions for these exercises all over the internet). Be sure to incorporate squats into your routine. Stand in front of a chair or a couch and squat until your buns hit the seat (but DON'T sit) and return to standing. Repeat this until you're quads are fatigued. You should also try the butt plank. Like on your back with your knees bent and push your bottom off the floor. Your shoulders and feet should be the only parts of your body touching the ground. This is great for the butt!. Also, you should stretch, stretch, stretch. Stretch your hip flexors, your waist, and all the muscles of your lower body as often as possible. BREATH DEEPLY - this will increase oxygen flow to the area of the body you're targeting and help aid weight loss.
