Calories in Olive Juice

Olive juice can be strained from jars or cans of olives, or be bought as its own product. Some people add olive juice to cocktails, while others add it to sauces or dips.


A 1/2-oz. serving of olive juice contains about 15 calories.


All of the calories in olive juice are derived from fat -- 1.5 g per serving. Olive juice contains no cholesterol and no sugar. There are 240 mg of sodium in a serving of olive juice.

The American Heart Association suggests that adults in good health consume no more than 2,300 mg -- about 1 tsp. -- of sodium each day. If you use more than the suggested serving of olive juice, or consume it frequently, the sodium in the juice could add up quickly.
